Whenever i try to join a multiplayer it says "the host that you have attempted to connect with is longer present" please help i've reset my pc numerous times and my wifi. Every other device in the house is available to join multiplayer on call of the wild, and i can join every other online game with play with friends other than call of the wild. I also tried whitelisting it but whenever i open the file it doesn't let me insert it onto the whitelist.

Hey @sterile latch ! I'm sorry to hear you've had issues playing with your friends. Since tthe game uses a peer-to-peer multiplayer system, the connection relies on the host’s and your network setup. The error you’re seeing often points to network issues or NAT restrictions rather than a problem with your PC or Wi-Fi specifically.
Here are some steps that may help improve connectivity:
-Enable UPnP (Universal Plug and Play) on your router or port forward UDP port 32303 for CotW.
-Ensure your router firmware is up to date.
-Power cycle your router by unplugging it for 10 minutes and plugging it back in.
-Check your NAT type. Players with strict NATs often have trouble joining P2P sessions.
-If you’re using a VPN, try toggling it off or on to see if it affects connectivity.
Unfortunately, because the game does not use dedicated servers, we cannot directly fix individual connection issues, but following these steps usually helps resolve most P2P connection problems.
