A feature that's sorely missing from the game is the ability to place and name more than just a single marker.

Yes, you're right, I forgot about that. It's a pain that the marker disappears as soon as you quit the game.
Different colors and the ability to name them would be great. I can only imagine how confusing it must get for players who are grinding and have multiple zones for different species.
