Realistic Weapon Skins

I enjoy the weapon customisation in Call of the Wild, but I’m always surprised at how few realistic weapon skin options there are available.

We have a colourful range of cerakotes which are great, but there are absolutely zero basic stainless or blued steel options available.

We have all the gaudy wraps and camos in the world if you like your weapons to look like something out of Call of Duty or a Nerf Gun. But very few plain synthetic, polymer, or carbon fibre options if you want your weapons to look like authentic hunting tools.

The paint options we do have simply don’t work as substitutes for synthetics or metals as the colours are always off under different lighting, and in shadow they just look flat and artificial.

That’s why I’d like to suggest a number of more grounded skin options that would better reflect real hunting gear.

1. Zinc Parkerised Steel
2. Manganese Parkerised Steel

1. Cold Blued Steel
2. Hot Blued Steel
3. Rust Blued Steel
4. Charcoal Blued Steel
5. Nitre Blued Steel
6. Colour Case Hardened Steel

1. Carbon Fibre Wrap (for barrels)
2. Carbon Fibre (for stocks)
3. Brush Painted Carbon Fibre

A simple selection of plain synthetics and polymers, as well as a wider selection of laminates for rifle stocks would also be great as with the current skin options there simply isn’t a way to accomplish these simple looks.

This is something I've also been wanting for the longest time in game, this along with having more sectors to customize so I dint have, for example, a chrome barrel and a blued steel sight that just looks horrendous.

Also I'm always glad to see suggestions made with real though put into it, great job on that man 🤙

The fact that many weapons have certain small parts that cannot be customised has always filled me with an unreasonable level of rage 😂

It’s ridiculous when you finally get a weapon looking great, but then you’re stuck with a sight, barrel band, or sometimes even the whole receiver that you just cannot match.

I really think the current 1 to 3 sectors system needs a proper rework on a case-by-case basis, so every weapon can be completely customised.
