My friends cotw keeps crashing when he tries to boot it up. Please help

Hi, my friend had the same problem and he simply solved it by opening steam first as administrator and then starting COTW from there. Although if you dont have steam, i dont know if I can help.

What do you mean by "boot it up"? (When you start the game?)

If you're on a PC, you should provide a description of your PC's components: motherboard, storage (total space and free space), RAM, sound card (Drivers) especially your graphics card and whether the drivers are up to date.
