#Realistic bullet and arrow penetration

Okay so adding this to the game could be a little bit controversial but i’m suggesting it for the sake of fun and to have new experiences in the game. To put this short: i would like the arrows and bullets to penetrate through multiple animals just like Way of the hunter. Now i get that realistically nobody hunts like this (from what i know), but it would be cool for the games sake like if you have some overpowered gun in the game with crazy penetration (like the Moradi 44. Magnum), it would be cool if i could down say two deer standing side by side, or let’s say i would want to hunt geese with a bow and arrow and i bring out the 700gr, how many geese can i get with one shot i do wonder. I think it would be a cool addition and since it is a game i don’t expect many people to have a problem with it existing, and to be clear i’m not suggesting you will get good harvest score with 700gr arrows on geese, but it would be a cool addition in my opinion.

Please tell me your thoughts on this, it would be very appreciated.
Thank you.

We should NOT add collats to a hunting game

Why shouldn’t there be collateral kills available?

I have to say I thought about it when I had two game animals next to each other.
It would take incredible penetration. In real life, I don't know if that's possible?
An M107 Long Range Sniper Rifle, but with a zero point of 75m. 😆

Yeah it might not be too realistic so i’m not thinking a lot, mostly larger/stronger calibers on smaller animals, like the moradi i mentioned would easily blow through 2 pronghorn or whitetail. I am using game logic here so i don’t know much at all about real life calibers. EW seems to do a little bit in-between when it comes to the realism and since it is a game, there has to be some distinction between it and real life and that’s why i think this addition could work for the game

For me, it's not the fact that it's a military weapon in the game. The Tactical .300 Mag, if I'm not mistaken, is based on a military weapon, isn't it? But I can only imagine the penetration it must need. Ouf!

Maybe I do mistake but once I killed two fox by one bullet. It occurred one time in many years of play.

I like the idea. I've shot 2 impala with 1 220gr SPRN .30-06 bullet irl. Ik, sounds like a bs story but I have witnesses at least, and I got crapped on for violating one of the fundamental gun saftey rules (know what's around and beyond your target) but atleast it worked out fine. I've also collateraled animals in Woth which I think is a nest feature. I don't think it should be something to strive for but rather something that can happen if you're not careful about your shots. And at the end of the day, it is realistic for it to happen.

Here's the photo from the 2 I got from 1 shot. I hit the middle one a bit high so it was a spine shot but the bullet then went into the on on the far right of the 3 in its front left shoulder and went through the body and the bullet was visible under the skin by the right rear leg by the rump. They both dropped instantly

A kind of harvesting rule that would be included because we are, in fact, violating a hunting "Rule" law. Maybe in cases where the mission requires killing several animals, like more than 2 for herd management, this rule would not apply and we would even be rewarded. But for missions where we only have to kill a single animal, we would be penalized. Not a bad idea.

Here's another idea they could implement.
I don't know about you guys, but I never use soft-point bullets—they just don't have enough penetration.
What if they replaced those soft-point bullets with highly-penetrating ones? This would give players a choice and even allow for a double kill with a single shot.
I can just imagine someone losing their Great One because they chose the high-penetration bullets and ended up hitting two animals.
