Suggestion - See if you can match the ambient lighting on binos and guns etc and players hands with your surrounds when in a dark forest. See attached snips. The players hands and guns seem too bright compared to your surroundings when you are in a forest. Its a minor detail, but something i notice every time im wondering through a dark forest. Your gun and hands look out of place in those snips, like they were cut and pasted from another scene. Compare the lighting on your gun with the dog in the second snip. The Dog is more correctly lit.

Everything is affected by the shadows except the player, now that’s in need of a change. Good post
If you walk into shafts of sunlight in the forest you will see shadows and variations of lighting on the player, it almost looks like there is a limit set on how dark the player can be, which is what you see in the above screenshots.

We need a fix on that.
The lighting on the users equipment ist way too bright on several maps. That's why many e.g. rifles visually sting out extremely, especially when the player is in the forrest.
A good example is revontuli coast. Every rifle has a blue-ish bright shine, which is a hard immersion breaker. I attach some pictures taken on revontuli coast. See how crazy bright the rifles shine? This is insane! You can see this shine also on the wood stocks and also on the edges of binoculars. See my attached pictures. This needs a fix so desperately !!!
I observed it on several map: e.g. revontuli, askiy ridge, sundarpatan, etc. It almost feels like the ground would also emmitt blue light, that reflects on the rifles and and binoculars.
Maps that do not have said broken lighting are for example Hirschfelden or cuatro collinas.
This needs a fix desperately !!!
Please go through ALL maps and check for this broken lighting. Just take a rifle of your choice (espcially those with a shiny skin like the .300 canning magnum frontier, or the Olson (e.g. when equipped with the silver-chrome skin (new years silver) then it is the most extreme) and take it out in the morning hours or mid day on revontuli... compare it to the impression on cuatro collinas / Hirschfelden, which do not have broken lighting.
It is not only the forrest... here some more evidence for the broken lighting. It is juat as if the white-blue skybox would bleed light also through the ground up to the player.
For comparison: this is what propper lighting looks like. (taken on cuatro collinas at the exact same daytime with the same rifles with the same skins on them .300 canning frontier with no skin and Olson with new year's silver). See the difference? There is no blue glow at the wooden stock, there is propper reflections on the shiny barrel, the barrel just does not sink into white-blue. It is not lit by the skybox all arround (especially not through the ground!). This is what it should look like on every map !
Maybe adding a lighting blocking layer beneath every affected map (revontuli and more) would fix the issue? See, on cuatro the light comes from the sun as you can see in the pictures, resulting in beautiful reflections and a shiny rifle. In revontuli, the light comes from everywhere, especially through the ground resulting in a strangly lit wooden stock and a killing of all reflections on the barrel due to light from everywhere and thus no shadows, rendering all metal reflections being killed completely.
Submitted a bugreport to EW using their ticketsystem. Maybe someone else can do the same!? This visual issue bothers me for a looooong time now. Once seen, i can not unsee it.
