Hello,
I am writing to express my deep frustration — shared by many in the community — regarding the extremely large update sizes that have continued to plague theHunter: Call of the Wild for years.
It's been eight years since launch, and yet the update system is still forcing players to redownload massive parts of the game, sometimes over 100 GB, even for minor changes.
This issue is absolutely unacceptable in 2025.
You could easily address this by:
Separating DLC content from the base game, so players who do not own specific DLCs aren’t forced to download them anyway.
When a DLC receives an update, release patches only for those who actually own the DLC.
Implement a modular update system or patch streaming, as many modern games have done.
My friends and I are extremely angry and disappointed by how long this issue has been ignored.
You acknowledged the problem in 2022, but no meaningful progress has been made since then.
Please treat this feedback seriously and prioritize a fix immediately. The community has been more than patient — it's time for real action.
Regards
Ali
