I’ve been loving all of the bird additions lately, wood ducks and pintails are super fun. Gadwalls are great.

In salzweizen starting lodge, there is a canvas back decoy on the front mantle.

That made me think of all other species that would be really fun, especially in a Minnesota South Carolina, Chesapeake or GL region map. Or even just a backfill on other maps 🤷‍♂️

Here are just a few iconic waterfowl that haven’t made the cut yet:

Oh also mourning doves

I’d prefer they rework birds entirely before doing anymore small game reserves.

They don’t even make the right sounds!

I don’t think a new map is necessary, I believe adding these as backfilled species could add a lot of value to maps like New England mountains, boosting desirability for less popular maps.

Here is how I would divide them up:

mississippi (positioned right at the end of the Mississippi flyway, the most heavily used waterfowl migration corridor in the country) : canvas back/ or redhead, American coot, ruddy duck, American wigeon, northern shoveler

New England mountains: hooded mergansers, blue winged teal
