Designed to function flawlessly in the most brutal conditions Mother Nature can dish out, the Oryx .325 Magnum is the ultimate plains game rifle.

The long 24" barrel allows the cartridge to take full advantage of its powder capacity and make an effective and ethical harvest at ranges exceeding 300 meters.

Paired with a good scope this rifle is excessively accurate and the low bullet drop will make for easier to make long shots. The power of this cartridge can also be applied in close range hunts for larger game.

Everything from mule deer to bison is perfectly within this calibers capabilities. Even large African game is not an issue, everything from hartebeest to eland has fallen to this, the ideal plains game rifle.

Class 5-9? Looks like a fantastic rifle!

While it sounds fun to use, the game has plenty of bolt action rifles. I don’t think we need more.

I'd love more guns with unique class ranges like this. I'd kill to have the 9.3 O/U from hunter classic.

Also, the tsurugi just doesn't feel like a hunting rifle. It works but the sights are awful and there's not really any traditional style rifles that cover 5-9. Sure the 375 and 300cm cover 7-9 but that's a really limited range for calibers that should be doing work on class 5 (300) and 6(375) at minimum

This would pair well in a pack with the 416 Rigby & 505 Gibbs. An I have to agree with Huxley out of the Rifles we Lack Magnums/Big Bores that class range in 4-9, 5-9, & 6-9. Though in my honest opinion EW really needs to expand Rifle Caliber applications by adding different ammo types to add more player utility. Class locking calibers limiting their use for a specific game range is nerve racking esp. w/ the 300wm that should be 5-9 not a 7-9 only.

I am going to make a 6.5 Creedmoor that looks like this. It is a very beautiful thing
