Sometimes when going to the map and trying to set a waypoint or fast travel the "click" or "select" functionality stops working completely. The only way to fix it is to restart the game.

We're sorry to hear you are seeing inconsistencies with the map menu. This is a concern we are currently looking into, and hope to have a solution ready in future updates.
In the meantime, some players have reported that moving up and down with the stick / D-pad while it shows the Cancel options can help. Please give it a try if you happen to come across this again.
