North American 29

I'd really like to see the North American 29 be possible in COTW, in the attached photo I have Safari Club International's requirements for their NA 29 Slam. SCI has the most relaxed rules of this slam that I could find, and even so we are still 5 animals short of being able to complete the slam in-game.

That is IF you count the 4 different NA maps with moose as having shiras, western canada, alaskan, and eastern canada moose (in layton, askiy, yukon, and new england respectively.) And also if you count the layton lakes black bear as a pacific black bear, which it may well be based on region.

With current reserves there are a few animals that could be added. The Sitka deer would be a much needed addition to Yukon valley, it would fill the void of not having a class 4 animal, and add an animal to the map currently holding the lowest species count. The Wolverine could also be added to Askiy Ridge. This would leave us needing 3 more species or sub species.

For a new map I see two ways forward, either Northwest territories Canada/far north of Alaska. Or go to the yucatan peninsula of Mexico.

A map in the north could be a dual biome map similar to whiterime ridge, transitioning from mountains to ice flats. featuring the Polar Bear, Muskox, Arctic Islands/Arctic Barren Ground Caribou, Stone Sheep, Dall Sheep, Fannin Sheep, and Pacific Walrus as new additions.

A map based on the Yucatan, could feature the Coues Deer, Gray Brown Brocket Deer, and the Jaguar. Jaguars should be even harder to find than the snow leopards, with only 3 males and 3 females on a map at any given time.

These two maps and the Species they would contain, would fill in the majority of what is missing from CotW in terms of North American big game. With the only missing members being specifically localized subspecies, such as the Tiburon island mule deer, and the Tule elk.

With this could come a new achievement, the NA 29 Achievement, unlocked upon harvesting one of each of these 29 species.

You list some map locations that have been suggested but before I get into the details I do like how much detail you added for how the North American 29 could be added

I have personally suggested the Northwest Territories for Polar Bear, Dall’s Sheep, Muskox, Wolverine, Barren-ground Caribou and Walrus (And I sort of included Fannin’s Sheep as a fur type for Dall’s) and here it is #1070045518002147458

Unfortunately Stone’s Sheep are almost exclusive to British Columbia and Sitka Deer would not fit that well on Yukon Valley, thankfully another well done reserve suggestion has been made that not only includes Stone’s Sheep and Black-tailed Deer but also Mountain Caribou and Wolverine that is set in British Columbia and this is it here #1123832368118120458

I don’t think Coue’s Deer should be added to a Yucatan Map considering they are a desert species, it would be like adding Ocellated Turkey to Rancho (apparently it almost happened but I would have to double check) and the potential for Desert Bighorn Sheep being possibly added to replace the Bighorn Sheep on Rancho in the future they could likely do this with the White-tails on Rancho without messing up the Great One for that species (The bighorn sheep in game have been renamed to Rocky Mountain Bighorn Sheep, including the ones on Rancho)

There are a few different Yucatan Suggestions but for Jaguar, if we are to get them it would be on a South American map set somewhere like Guyana or Suriname (Brazil does not seem to allow any sport hunting currently) and here is the best suggestion for that region #1207357430963507281

Yes, if there were 3 US maps I would happily accept it would be that, Hawaii and an upland focused map that is otherwise similar to Revontouli/Salzwiesen

I could see a game ranch happening to but that's just me asking for too much
But the whole rev thing is what I tried doing with garnet crest hence the amount of birds
But yeah a upland focused map with more grouse or something would be nice

An all Diamond NA Super Slam would be Fantastic Award to hang in a Trophy Lodge ...

If they were to implement something like this .... They would need to find some way to validate that the animal was killed on a un-modded server ..... Over wise it would be pretty pointless / meaningless ....
