Hi, this is the first time I post here. I've always enjoyed speculating and thinking about what the next maps for the game might be and what new species we might hunt. This is my idea for a map set in North Africa, in a non-specific country. I hope you understand, as English isn't my first language, and I hope you like the idea. I already have four other maps designed that I just need to lay out, so if you're interested, I'm ready to post them.
I don't know if u can see the photo in the right order and in a good quality, I repeat, this is my first time and I'm not sure how to post on Discord yet, so sorry for the possible inconvenience.

I really like the idea of a North African map and I see you've put great effort into this!
I really enjoy you:
-Splitting up the map into different biomes
-Including a range of different kinds of game (big game, Predators, waterfowl etc)
-Including the scimitar Horned oryx
I might change:
-Chuckar patridge to Barbary patridge as I've seen them in the region irl and chuckars are not native there (very similar tho)
-The inclusion of Nubian ibex as not native to the region
I'd also like to add that if you are interested in how I'd do a North African map you can check that out over at #1325982630792921159
I made this map idea: https://discord.com/channels/393040947006406657/1159248365029167144 a long time ago, if you’d like to take some inspiration from that.
I remember that One, it's great

Scrub Hares too, they’re only Native to South Africa, Lesotho, and Namibia.
The Hare found in the Atlas Mountains would be the Cape Hare
The African Savanna Hare could also work if you stretch the Sahara region of the map a little bit, as they’re found in what was formerly known as Western Sahara.
@tawdry steeple When I was looking for animals to include, I looked up the differences between scrub hares and cape hares, and certain sites told me they were the same species, so thanks for the correction.
Your concept is also really cool and well done. The chukar rock partridge was chosen to have the same species in other maps (both my own and as backfill for existing maps) without having to change textures, but obviously the Barbary partridge would be more appropriate. As for the Nubian ibex, I know it's not its native range, but I really liked it as a species (then I asked chatGPT for advice and he also thought it would be a good fit😆 ). Thanks for the feedback and advice, though.
To be fair, they do look incredibly similar and they’re both in the same genus (Lepus), so I could very much understand the confusion.
Yeah definitely, I've had trouble distinguishing them at distance when I was in a place that had em both
This is how all posts should be done! Well done!
