Why isn't there an actual Black Paint among all of the Cosmetics DLCs?
We buy the weapon packs, some buy the cosmetics, and there are 50 shades of gray. For years we thought EW was holding out a good matte-black paint as a selling point for a future Cosmetics DLC - so where is it? The Future is Now.
Tired of paying $6 for new weapons and trying to find a blotchy gray paint that can pass for black.
Please put out a Black Paint, maybe as a Halloween freebee 🖤

Matte black as a paint option. No weird shine. No Black 3.0. Just a regular color spray

Textured matte, if you need a color reference in particular I highly recommend Cerakote

Exactly, nothing particularly fancy or difficult, hopefully not difficult to implement at least.
Hopefully it'll come with a couple extra color areas because oh dear God that muzzlebrake on the .300 CM triggers my OCD in the absolute worst way

Certain weapon parts like Trigger Guards, Sights, and End Caps can only be skinned with Paint - Materials like the Metal Barrels and Woodgrains can't be applied. This is the darkest Paint color available: Hirschfeldon Dark Grey Paint. It might look blackish in the menu, but once it's applied it's a blotchy gray - we want a blotchy black
On the new Frost .257 the tube under the forend-slide gets the paint in the Part 3 slot. This thing looks great in Woodgrain and Metal, until I see the blotchy gray tube while reloading out in the sunlight - it just looks Meh

The worst small part is the swivel stud on the tip of the Nordin's mag tube (drives me insane, can't even use the gun without thinking about it)

This is why I treat the wood stocked .300 as the only one.
Also, I absolutely hate the iron sights, you can't see the front sight correctly

There's a Paint color that matches every Metal for the barrels, except Black. The Ranger .243 (3rd down) has a rich Sand-colored Paint matching the Sand Metal barrel - we need that in Black to match the Nitride Metal
