Others know about this place, but I found it on my own and was amazed - Emerald Coast, Lake Cave in top center. Sambar, Hog Deer, Fallow, Axis, and Feral Pigs drink there

Mississippi Acres - The Most Unsanitary Swamp Habitant

I started photographing every outposts in the game on my last cotw save and I might resume that pastime soon. Here's a neat tapissery that decorates multiples outposts in several maps. I believe in some maps it's bisons or deers instead of bears.

This is the Loggers Point Outpost (Yukon Valley)

An another neat observation in Yukon Valley, is that under outposts or near tents, the grounds remains without snow because of the heat of the house or something.

I play in french obviously, because it's my main language, but this is probably called the "Murphy's Crest" outpost for those curious. The number of the outpost is not important. It was the sixth outpost I photographed on that map. I did photograph all sides of the Yukon Outposts, but since they are almost the same, I focused on the front and back after the first few

As you can see, depending on the type of soil/grass, the space under the house change but remains snowless. Calmwater's Cabin I guess in English

Billboards are interesting in each reserves. They have tips and tricks about dangers and natural hazards and warnings about some dangerous wildlife. Some maps billboards even have facts about animals species of their maps. Per instance, outposts in Vurhonga Savanna each have a description about one species. Here's the billboard of a regular outpost in Yukon Valley

The Yukon Burnt Teekon Forest Outpost is quite interesting and game-breaking. It's only unlockable after doing the missions and features containers

That particular container has an open computer that has the COTW game application, which is a 4th wall break

My NEM took 11 seconds to open the huntermate because i had found too many need zones, and it crashed my game 1 out of 3 times. I couldn't grind fox

Layton Lakes typical outpost interior. However, some subtles differences occurs in-between outposts

there's this thing sometimes. I don't know what it's called nor it's purpose

might just be a ladder

some Layton Lakes outposts have multiples cabins

And some have bear hides instead of the normal sleeping sheets

That outpost is insane. You really get to appreciate the work of the game creators/designers by progressing through the maps with time. Outposts are outstanding nowadays (they were already great before… but let’s say most early maps had copy-pasted ones)
