#Being able to have multiple saves on pc

I'm of the same opinion, there should be greater flexibility for saving. Actually, on PC with the Steam console, it's possible to save the "Saves" folder and restart the game from that save, but there's a procedure to follow. So, I copy the "Saves" folder to a cloud at the beginning of each reserve.
Do you know the path to the "Saves" folder and do you know the procedure to follow?
nope
im assuming you just put your save folder in a file somewhere else on your pc and then start a new save or something like that
Hello! By default, the save folder is located in C:\Users%your_username%\Documents\Avalanche Studios\COTW\Saves. To properly back up and restore your game saves, you should follow these steps:
Backing Up Your Save Folder
First, you need to save your "Saves" folder and its entire contents.
Make sure you close the game and completely exit the Steam client before you do this.
Navigate to your "Saves" folder.
Copy the entire folder and paste it in a secure location on your computer or an external drive.
Restoring a Save File
If you need to restore a backup, you must first disable Steam Cloud to prevent it from overwriting your restored save.
Disable Steam Cloud: Go to the game's properties in Steam and uncheck the "Keep games saves in the Steam Cloud" option.
Exit and Restart Steam.
Replace the "Saves" folder: Delete the existing "Saves" folder in the game's default location and replace it with your backed-up folder.
Restart Steam again.
Re-enable Steam Cloud: Go back to the game's properties in Steam and re-enable the Steam Cloud option.
Launch the game and fast travel to an outpost. This will force the game to create a new save file and sync it with the Steam Cloud.
The key is to take your time and restart the game and the Steam client at each step to ensure the changes are applied correctly.
hm i didnt know i needed to disable steam cloud
yep.
You need to reactivate it after you replace the "Saves" folder. It will start with the new save file and the new folder. Also, you have to start the game and go to an outpost for the new save to be created and saved to the Steam Cloud.
