ATV keeps going even after letting go of the gas button (PC)

I've been traveling around askiy ridge and I've noticed that if I slow down and let ho of the gas at around 7mph the ATV will keep going. I'm currently seeing how long I can go with this and it's been maybe about 10 minutes now and it's gotten no slower than 6mph and has actually sped up in places up to 13mph. It hasn't done this in previous versions so this seems to be new
