#A few weapon packs I'd love to see added

First up would be a Guns of Old pack. It would have four firearms available.

.32 or .36 caliber flintlock rifle for animals between classes 2-4
12 gauge double barrel muzzle loading shotgun for classes 1-2 & 3-8
.40 caliber Pennsylvania longrifle for classes 3-7(or 3-6)
.54 caliber hawken flintlock rifle for classes 4-9
.45 caliber flintlock or caplock pistols for classes 3-6

The second pack was the early military rifles pack

.75 caliber brown bess for animals classes 6-9
.58 springfield musket for classes 4-8
.451 Whitworth a very long range rifle with a unique barrel amd bullet design for classes 3-7
.56-56 spencer repeating rifle for classes 3-7
.52 caliber sharps carbine

3rd pack would just be somewhat strange older weaponry that would be fun to use

.40 caliber swivel breech flintlock
.45 caliber harmonica rifle
a medieval windlass crossbow
atlatl

finally id like some big bore single shot rifles

1874 sharps .45-110
winchester highwall .50-110
springfield trapdoor .45-70 [needs a rework to be stronger]
remington rolling block 8x56R

Fowler of mine, currently still under construction. Just finishing up with metal and wood treatment and such - would love to see some flintlock action in the game. Such a versatile gun as a smoothbore - you can hunt just about anything with the same gun provided you have the right ammo, and variable powder charges would make things even better. All it requires is an insane amount of stealth - gotta be within like 100yd for a round ball, 30yd tops it out with shotgun.

adding the ability to have fowlers and other blackpowder firearms with variable loading would make this game so much more exciting imo.

imagine if you could have stations set up so you can craft paper patched rounds for different situations? Use your .45 caliber fowler for squirrels on up to larger deer species like elk.

or if you have a swivel rifle set up so one barrel is .36 caliber and the other is .54?

Final finish is on the gun. Used some oil and wax on the stock, blued the lock and barrel and browned the brass. Might take it apart after awhile to do some finishing touches, but it's in real good shape.

I need to play more cotw. lol
