Welcome to the Mountains of Türkiye. here we got many diverse and cool species up here in the turkish mountains. it would be a cool reserve idea and not many talk about it.

Species list:

Anatolian Red Deer - Class 6 | Found Everywhere in the reserve

Eurasian Grey Wolf - Class 6 | Found Everywhere in the reserve

Anatolian Wild Boar - Class 5 | Found Everywhere in the reserve

Bezoar Ibex - Class 5 | Found on the Mountain Ranges

Konya Sheep - Class 5 | Found in the Central Part

Striped Hyena - Class 4 | Found in packs and dont attack people (found everywhere)

Anatolian Chamois - Class 3 | Found in the Mountain Ranges

Anatolian Gazelle - Class 3 | Found in the Southern Part

Roe Deer - Class 3 | Found Everywhere

Caracal - Class 2 | Found everywhere

Golden Jackal - Class 2 | Found Everywhere

Mallards - Class 1 | Found in Rivers and Lakes

Ring Necked Pheasent - Found in the Northern Half Map

Caucasian Grouse - Class 1 | Found everywhere

Common Shelduck - Class 1 | Found everywhere near water

Garganey - Class 1 | Found everywhere near water

Habitats/Biomes:
Rocky Mountain Ranges Perfect for Anatolian Chamois, Bezoar Ibex, Etc.
Open Grasslands and Mountains: Very Green Areas, Very open and perfect when animals feed.
Anatolian Plateau: Dry open Deserts along the Central bit. Common for Jackals, Gazelles, etc
Forests: Some parts are more forested. but its good for boars and wolves
River - Alot of Freshwater Rivers. starting from the central part spreading to different areas. Hotspot for alot of stuff when they drink

This reserve is not along the syrian border or the kurdish border its along the central area

It’s a yes from me, how about adding anatolian leopards, caracals and striped hyenas?

There are less then 10 leopards in all of Turkiye (Edit: I could be wrong about that number), that is one species that should not be included as a huntable, but I think Striped Hyenas and Caracals could work

Wikipedia, but I am looking into it to see if I was correct or not, I am reading an article (that I had to translate) that is stating the country could be home to 150, but more reading will be required of me

i seen alot for armenia or georgia so i did turkey. we need different stuff. also turkey is alot better for wildlife

The high estimate seems to be 150 and a low of 10 within Turkiye but the Anatolian Leopard (Also known as the Persian Leopard) are not that numerous to begin with anymore with the bulk of the population being in Iran

As far as this reserve goes, I imagine the iconic species would be the Bezoar Ibex on account of how many people go there to specifically hunt bezoar ibex

yeah bezoar ibex are very big and beautiful ibex species. maybe a great one would even be cool tbh. there antlers are huge

For some newer waterfowl species that could come with a Turkish Reserve the Garganey and Common Shelduck could be interesting inclusions

Alternatively upland birds would be a good inclusion with species like Black-bellied Sandgrouse, Chukar and Black Francolin all being good options

I should point out that the Black Grouse is extinct in Turkey but the similar looking Caucasian Grouse does still live in parts of Turkey

Caucasian grouse fits way better, and true lotta mountains in Türkiye so upland game will work well
