(Based in late November Oregon)

[This is my final small game map idea. This is also a remaster of my old Oregon small game park https://discord.com/channels/393040947006406657/1403072771210088599]

Welcome to helllebore’s valley, named after the evergreen perennials that blooms late winter. This small game national park has a variety of biome’s, and waterfowl like the American and Eurasian wigeon. And a variety of animals like the red fox, and Virginia opossum. Welcome to the hellebore’s valley national park.

(This park has a total of 20 species: 10 old and 10 new)

[CLASS 1]

Mallard

Northern pintail

American wigeon (New)

Eurasian wigeon

Ring neck duck (New)

Cinnamon teal

Bufflehead (New)

Ruddy duck (New)

Lesser scaup (New)

Barrow’s goldeneye (New)

Gadwall

Eurasian teal

Canada goose

Mountain quail (New)

Merriam turkey

Brush rabbit (New)

[CLASS 2]

Red fox

Bobcat

Virginia opossum (New)

Striped skunk. (New)

(Renamed species and others)

The gadwall will be renamed to the common gadwall.
(Only for the map)

The opossum and skunk will be hard to find, since during wintering months. Opossum will spend half of their time in their den, while the other half of the time is looking for food.

While skunks, they do the same thing but they also spend the rest of the time entering a deep sleep. While a small half of the time, they will be looking for food.

This map will have some duck species mix up.

What I mean is that in real life, some duck / geese species mix up. Like the Ross geese and snow geese, so in this map it will happen too.

For example, when hunting American wigeon. You might get 2 or 1 Eurasian wigeon in that flock, same thing with the teals.

[Hybrids and more]

What’s a hybrid?

A hybrid is when a species

[for example a Eurasian wigeon.]

Mates with a completely different species.

[For example a gadwall.]

And they have completely unique looking offspring

So here’s every hybrid skin for every new bird species and what they are hybrid with

Barrow’s goldeneye

(Hybrid 1: barrow’s goldeneye x hooded merganser)

(Hybrid 2: barrow’s goldeneye x common goldeneye)

(Hybrid 3: Barrow’s goldeneye x ring neck duck)

Ruddy duck

(Hybrid 1:
ruddy duck x mallard)

Ring neck duck

(Hybrid 1: ring neck duck x redhead)

(Hybrid 2: ring necked duck x tufted duck)

(Hybrid 3: ring neck duck x Lesser scaup)

Bufflehead

(Hybrid 1: bufflehead x hooded merganser)

Lesser scaup

(Hybrid 1: lesser scaup x redhead)

(Hybrid 2: lesser scaup x tufted duck)

American wigeon

(Hybrid 1: American wigeon x pintail)

(Hybrid 2: American wigeon x northern shoveler)

(Hybrid 3: American wigeon x Eurasian wigeon)

Mountain quail

I’m down for an Oregon waterfowl park, maybe like as an expansion to Layton! A new experiment where they add new species to old maps and upsize the map A LOT. But isn’t this just your Henry’s mountain park thing with a different name though?
