(Based in The summer of Louisiana / this is just Mississippi acres as a small game park)

Welcome to the bayou, the most beautiful swamps in one of many us states like Texas or the Mississippi River delta. This national park is one of many hotspots for ducks and others. The bayou is home to the whistling duck family and the teal family. But most commonly you can find the wood duck, mallard, and the northern shoveler. It’s also home to Landfowl, aquatic rodents, and carnivores. Like the invasive coypu, the native gray fox, Racoon, and the American woodcock. Welcome to the bayou.

Cinnamon Teal are commonly found in the Pacific Flyway that’s about it but they have been found in other flyways

# analog crest Actually? Let me do a quick research

Additionally if you wanted to do a pacific flyway map Oregon would be a good location with them having cinnamon teal and also having Eurasian Wigeon with American Wigeon. This is because Eurasian Wigeon are becoming more common to see in America. Also American Wigeon have a plumage variation that is called storm and is beautiful.

(The types of waders.)

Me too!

Also if anyone is wondering yes. There are feral Muscovy ducks in Louisiana.

Their native range is to central and South America, and from northern Mexico and northern Argentina. And probably somewhere else I don’t know about.

More calls / call details / and silhouette decoys.

I feel like we need more calls for this map, More details, and silhouette decoys.

So here’s a quick list : )

[beacon deluxe whistling call]

Desc:

A simple yet effective design. With this whistle, you call up to any duck that makes a whistling call. By clicking ( x) or ( R) or (āˆ†)
You can change how the call sounds to match the species
You’re hunting. It can also make a drake mallard call

(Cost: FREE)

(Attracted species:
fulvous whistling duck
Black bellied whistling duck
Ring neck duck
Blue winged teal
Green winged teal
Eurasian teal
Cinnamon teal
Bobwhite quail
Stubble quail
Mallard
Pintail
Eurasian wigeon
Etc)

[Beacon deluxe Blue wing teal call]

(Cost: FREE)

Desc:

Mostly used by teal hunter’s, this call that’s comes from the bayou acres park DLC is a duck hunter’s paradise. This call mimics a female blue wing teal.

(Attracted species:
Blue winged teal)

[Beacon deluxe diving duck call]

(Cost: FREE)

Desc:

The classic call of a diving duck, mostly described by some people as a crow calling. In British Columbia, people use to grab a mallard call and make a BRR
Sound. But now it’s easier to make that noise, this call has an exhaust plug to keep a volume at a low. But you can remove it to increase the volume.

[attracted species: any diving duck in the game and in this park]

[silhouette decoys]

Desc:

Mostly used for goose hunting but also duck hunting. Silhouette decoys cause a major good impact to goose and duck hunting when faced in the wind direction.

(Cost: free)

1 new taxidermy lodges.

I feel like this maps needs a taxidermy lodge.

So like I always say.
Here’s the lodge

[oaks terrain trophy lodge]

Desc:
This new lodge is located in the Henderson Swamp’s of Louisiana. This new large lodge also have the new terrain mounts.
The lodge has an upstairs and downstairs, but the most unique thing about this lodge is it also has a dock. You can’t buy a boat (foreshadowing)

but there will be ducks from the Henderson swamps you will see in the distance. They are not huntable sadly but you can spot them if you’re binoculars.

(Yes you can equip binoculars when you go to the dock)

(Non huntable waterfowl)

Black bellied whistling duck

Wood duck

Blue winged teal

Speckle belly geese

Hooded mergansers

Canvasback

Northern pintail

Northern shoveler

American wigeon.

(Btw this is inspired by https://discord.com/channels/393040947006406657/1318956409878089748 so please support them. I’m not the one who originally created this idea)

As much as I love Salzweisen and the idea of the mini small game focused maps, it feels incomplete without a few big game species. Salzweisen, for instance, would really benefit from a few Roe Deer and Wild Boar.

# worn kelp As much as I love Salzweisen and the idea of the mini small game focused maps, i...

There’s no where wild board could be on the map where they would fit in, they just seem too big. Roe deer could be fine, and adding Sika deer could work too, but to be fair, Salzwiesen doesn’t need any new species because it is the perfect SMALL GAME map. It’s designed for Small game, so adding anything higher than class 2 just wouldn’t work.
If you want to hunt a map that’s like Salz, but has big game on, hunt Revontuli

Thousands of hunters flock to South Dakota's many pheasant lodges every year. Deer still inevitably get kicked up as they're walking fields. This is simply an example.
