Bienvenidos a Cañada Del Venado
A small hunting reserve situated in the state of Michoacán covered in vast desert, hills and mountains rugged terrain but still a vast place to hunt, hosting several species of bird, waterfowl and our most popular addition the "Gray Ghost" the Coues Deer
I’d like this, definitely seems better than what Rancho currently is (Species list) And I’d definitely hunt this!
In a way its me repurposing #1379710865435267124 and using it for a small map thats bird and waterfowl focused like Salzwizen

Does it come with an ice cream place that happens to be neon pink?
Maybe it might
dont forget they can hybridize with teal
Maybe some type of lizard? Ik gila monsters and iguanas live out there
Bats, roadrunners and white nosed coati apparently, could they be contenders?
I did consider reptiles like the green iguana and Mexican beaded lizard ill possibly add them and remove something else
The issue with roadrunners is the same reason I removed the American coot off garnet crest was they arent really considered a game animal
I’m unfamiliar with this term: game animal. Do you care to explain?
Any animal regularly hunted for sport basically
Oh well animals can be hunted for a variety of reasons, which you might know: conservation, population regulation, raw materials. Of course that’s not why you hunt in Cotw but since animals can be hunted that way irl why not add them to cotw then also?

Michoacán, Mexico (Small Map)
Decided to revive this a bit and maybe work on it more still considering adding different species, removing some or replacing some entirely just unsure what to add
I did add the Mexican gray squirrel
The thing is that the only canvasback caller (works on blue bills, ring neck etc) in real life is the Haydel diver duck call, I have one in real life and I have made an audio clip of what it could sound like in game, female tufted & ferruginous ducks make a brr sound so the call would work for them aswell even though the aren’t on this small game park. Now if you want me to do a more realistic sound with the call I will do it, but as of right now idk
(Edit: I forgot to mention ferruginous duck in the video)
So from what I understand I change it to beacon deluxe?
You don’t have too, I just like how cotw add the extra words to the duck & geese calls when rev coast was added
Also sorry for my poor calling skills, the Haydel’s diving duck call is a pro series call, and I am not a pro. Though I been practicing with it a little bit
It sounds alright from what I hear but personally not much of a duck hunter irl myself
