(Things good about the map) -

1000 percent the Northern Lights!!! Best night hunting map in the game. The people that said hunting under the Northern lights wouldn't be that good are crazy. Caribou, Mule Deer and Wolf hunts at night are amazing. I love how lighted the map is at night, but still dark. Please more of these lights in the future🙏

Landscapes, terrain and open shooting lanes. Im so glad it didn't have all the brush like Sundarpatan. This is a Beautiful map 😍

Snow Effects and lightning for the map in general are amazing!!! 💪 I love the snow on the animals and the dog.

Elk hunting!!!!! Needs a Great One

Variety of animals to hunt. The dog seems to be working a lot better. It's not miles behind me. At least on the new map. Haven't tried the others. The bond still goes away to fast.

Roar of the Black Bear. Scarier and more immersive.

It seems the Wolves dont immediately scare the Caribou into a fleeing state at night when the are on the lake together. They do go alert, but they give you a chance. Love the glowing eyes also.

Beaver animations are cool.

The reworks look amazing for the older animals. Big Horn Sheep 😍, Im foaming at the mouth with how good the Stones Sheep could look if added.

More colors in the landscape in some part of the map. I get it must be based in winter, but it would be so much more visually appealing to break up the scenery just little. The green and white is beautiful, but this map just doesn't give me the changing biome feel how Emerald Coast does.

I wish it would have had Wolverine and Grizzly. They would have been fun to hunt on this map. They are such amazing species that we need multiple maps for them. Not having Wolverine was heart crushing 😢

Im also extremely sad we didn't get an Elk Great One with reworks to the other elk which are way older than Mule deer. Still can't wrap my brain around that one. Hopefully a British Columbia map down the road could provide this. A British Columbia map would be a step up from this Alberta map. It could have better species and more changing biomes to play through.

Mule Deer could have had some better fur types imo. There is a few that I like, but I had better hopes for them. The Tiger Stripe fur is just bad to me. The antlers aren't bad but could have had more options based on world record antler replicas because some of those are amazing.

It seems like with this layout im like 4 tents short. Those 4 extra tents would have made getting around the map to areas much more enjoyable. I feel there is quite a few maps like this. Being able to hold 4 more tents would greatly help with multiple maps while still not being op.

To wrap up, i would say Amazing map. Definitely my new favorite map, but it left me wanting more. I guess that's probably your goal lol. 8/10 rating for me. Great Job and thank you for some Canada hunting! We need more in the future 🙏

I kinda smile when I see ingame implementations of northern lights. Yes, they match what most people expect them to look like - because of (processed) photos and videos. But as a person who saw intense real northern lights, i can tell, that they are much much weaker if seen with the real human eye (not by camera). But i am fine with it, because i consider this an artful representation of this nature phenomenon. Keep it so, but know, that they are much much weaker to the human eye in reality. 😅
