Bring back the Trophy lodge Glitch

Back in the day, you could do a glitch to put any trophy on any Plaque. It resulted in some hilarious mounts! And some ones that made sense, like being able to put some xxl mounts on the xl mounts. I’m making this post in hopes EW brings it back, and also, if you have any photos featuring this glitch, post them here! I would love to see!

I actually have a glitch lodge before it got fixed!
I have one picture of one of my favourite glitch mounts

(2 Gray Wolves on a desk thing)
They’ve always been my most favourites out of my glitch lodge and after remodel I just had to see them cuz they looked so beautiful

Besides that
I really wish glitch lodges will come back
I’ve made some crazy things with it and would love to have it again
One of my other glitch mounts is a Plains Bison at the foot of the bed on a desk stand, then I also have a Moose on a desk, a Red Deer on a table, a Brown Bear on a table, and a bunch of other funny things lol

This glitch was so much fun to mess around with, the crazy mounts that I created always made me cackle. I really don’t know why they patched it.

I really wish it was still a thing because it just felt so funny doing the craziest things sometimes
I once put a Lion on a desk and laughed at it for about 5 minutes cuz it was an accident and so random
I wish they’d bring it back or at least make it a feature that’s like “turn glitch lodges on or off” type of thing, so people that don’t want it for realism or whatever can have it off but people that do want it for the funny moments can have it on, yknow?

It really should make a comeback cuz it was just really fun altogether

I have one lodge that is remains of the old lodge glitch, which you are seeing now lol.

We shouldn't have to rely on a glitch for these types of mount placements. It should come standard. We should have more customization in placement of animals on mounts and base decoration options.

Single best glitch ever!

Think about it, placing mounts wherever and however you want was like, having another game altogether!

Hours of entertainment and additional interaction with animals that you’ve already harvested.

This brought an artistic mini-game within the great game of COTW.

And I would absolutely love to have it back somehow, someway.

If they just add this back, but not as a glitch it would be absolutely perfect, and as someone mentioned earlier, it’s sad that we had to rely on a glitch to have these type of cool mounts.

If memory serves me correct, the rumor was that stability issues were being addressed, which incidentally resulted in the loss of this glitch.

Some time ago, I posted on a thread to hopefully bring this back in some fashion, but there was some opposition to it.

Some folks didn’t like the idea of being able to place animals where you wanted as if someone else’s lodge would somehow affect them. - Which is overly restrictive and less fun I.M.O. 😒

Also, at the time Great Ones were taking off in popularity and Content-Creators were starting to find posted pictures of “players” with lodges crammed with G.O.’s, so that may very well have exacerbated things regarding artistic freedom in lodges.

One of my favourites from my lodge is when I put a gray wolf and Iberian wolf next to each other on a desk (but now it looks kinda silly since gray wolf got remodel and Iberian wolf looks very outdated)

Most of this lodge was Africa themed. There just isn’t many species to work with.
