#Reduce player footprint size, lighten/remove in deformed snow

So I love the snow deformation. It's a brilliant addition and it actually adds a lot to the immersion. Unfortunately it's fighting against the player footprints.

When they occur in deformed snow they don't make much sense, occurring on top of the disturbed snow instead of as a pit within it, and warping into odd shapes as they follow the deformation. If there's not a way to include them more realistically with the deformed snow then I'd rather just see the deformed snow alone. Easy enough to assume loose snow falls into the holes.

When the footprints occur on flat snow they're often distractingly dark. There are other times when they're lighter and actually look like a proper impression in the snow, so please make that always be the case.

But their main issue is that they're absolutely gigantic. Take a look at the multiplayer screenshot of a footprint vs. the actual foot. The difference is comical. It's multiple times larger! Apparently we were the real Sasquatch/Chuchunya all along.

Keep the footprints, just make them smaller.

Any reason for the preference for keeping them on deformed snow? It doesn't really look realistic at all, and there's such a small cap for the number of them that you can usually see them popping out of existence if you look behind you. They're only a detriment to immersion in my mind.

Remove player footprints from deformed snow, reduce size & lighten on flat snow

Not sure why sometimes they appear lighter, but it looks much better, even in the deformed snow. Make them like that all the time, please (and non-Bigfoot sized).

EW has us wearing size 27’s. No wonder the sound bar is always red on Mississippi,
