Title says it all as I didn't see this posted anywhere except for some mentions in the chats. I can't imagine the black bear calls are supposed to be as loud as they are compared to every other animal call in Askiy, especially with how much distance you can be away from them and still get jumpscared. My buddy even heard it as if it were right next to him but the bear was 200 meters away and even when it is right next to you, it sounds much louder than if any other animal would sound at that distance. It's scaring the heck out of us and breaking the chill vibe + emersion.

And same goes for some of the Wood Duck vocalisations... the traditional mallard "quack" they do is fine, but the new chirps and whoops they do are stupidly loud.

Oh I don't doubt that, but this is definitely an instance where gameplay should take presidence over realism I think
Although I will admit that complaining about bears being loud and scary does seem a bit silly because... Well duh, it's a bear 😂

I honestly like their loud chirps, it's a very fun sound to listen to while watching them come in and land at my decoys.
