Here's my guidance to EW for making future G1's ... And please when you do Elk don't make the same mistakes you made with Mule Deer ....

For non horned or antlered animals the Fantasy furs are ok because there is really nothing else to make them look different ...

But for Horned and Antlered animals and especially those with antlers just stick with the common or uncommon skins, you can also add in some of the rare skins as well ......

You should be able to get at least 6 to 8 fur variations form the skins already in the game.... and keep the racs massive but stick to typical and non typical variations ....

But for the Love of the game stay away from the abnormalities .... They just look butt ugly and nasty ... You only have to make 6 or 8 antler variations there is no need to get into the genetic abnormalities or sick animals ...

Where I come from we don't call those Great Ones ... we call those Culls and we kill them to get them out of the herd not to make a trophy out of them ....

I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks this way, it feels weird hunting Pokémon, it breaks the immersion enormously.

I waited a mule g1 so long. Because it lives in my liked quite maps. Rancho and SRP. No ducks no geese only I and mule and.....his ugly abnormal brothers. 🤪 Not all but three from six are not good in my modest opinion.

And please give us a way to get g1s without that sick amount of needed grind. Please some other additional mechanic than just a tiny chance and no way to signalize to ypu, that it is on your map

if they have alternative to grinding it would have to take basicly the same amount of in game time .... Otherwise no one would grind .... EW wont do that .... however they can let you organicly hunt for roughtly the same amount of time ..... This is all discussed in this thread ....

"Otherwise no one would grind" isn't that a good thing? Nobody likes grinding, but they do it just to get great ones. If there was a fun way to get them, everyone would be having more fun. That's the goal.

No unfortunately for many players grinding is as comfortable as an old pair of house shoes .... If you tried to take it from them they would scream and cry without end ... Trust me when I say this .... when I started the thread https://discord.com/channels/393040947006406657/1242416386031091753 I was embroiled in some bitter debates with grinders who thought that getting a G1 any other way was devaluing the G1 .....

grinding is a sacred religion to many players and EW has endorsed the play style so whatever alternate way we have will have to work along with grinding But my thread shows them how there can be not just one alternate way but many alternate ways that are just as valid as grinding ......

Let the grinders grind. Just add an additional mechanics, that spawns g1s. They can keep grinding on while the others might enjoy a new way to get a g1. I have over 1000h into that game, and thw thought of having to mass murder thousands of animals like an industrial slaughter disgusts me. This whole game is about ethical hunting, not mass murdering
