Figure I would start a place to collect small non-personal account related issues on Askiy Ridge that can be considered for addition to any patch issued in the near future. My contributions are on Epic Games using a PC with current NV display driver.

Bug: I've marched around the map collecting Gold of all but a few species without the mission updating. Took a bit to notice it showed under completed with only a handful of ~~species validated.~~

Minor issues: Need zones failing to register. It is possible to spot all animals in a need zone and then attempt registering the physical location marker using action key with zero success. Spotting is less reliable. Action key usually registers after running over need zone marker from a few angles while spamming.

Dog can get stuck on other side of short water passages too deep for player to wade.
Retriever can lack refinement finding or collecting harvests on dry land near water. It bypasses them in nearfield to explore well beyond.

Wood Bison in drinking zone can make numerous parallel crossings of deep stream sections when attempting to flee danger.

I was so excited to do the apex mission but it just completed for me too with only 8 done. Hope it gets fixed soon 😢

It clearly stopped updating on Mallard. POI mission triggers on singular landmark in succession this time to avoid that issue.

Took awhile to firmly disprove skill issues are at fault. Animal pop in while traversing thick cover, inner forest, complex elevation changes removes almost all hunting opportunities. Prime example repeatedly encountered being following up on mating call while seriously examining line of sight and through binoculars. Suddenly animal(s) are directly in front of you and begin to slowly wake up to this. Pop in is coming anywhere from nose to nose out to between low and medium rifle scope zeroing distances.

Beginning to wonder if using newest Nvidia driver is possibly a factor. Are you on PC or console?

PC, the issue began when I entered the game. I didn't do anything. I haven't finished the principal mission yet. I was trying to improve the HDR monitor because of the extreme brightness of the snow at sunny time in Askiy Ridge.

Thanks, if difficulty persists after first patch I will formally tackle this with support. At least HDR I can tell you is intentionally blown out at times. Night vision googles in fog on some maps is another example of intentionally challenging visual conditions. Really hits you on Askiy for brief periods even if it has long been part of the game.

same issue on PS5 for the Albertan Apex who goes to completed side missions after only 5 entries for mylself
