As mentioned above, on Xbox I've had a small issue when sometimes I go to put down a way point somewhere on the new map, the icon choices pop up but sometimes they only change to cancel and nothing else. Then after that I'm not able to get that menu up again or fast travel so I have to restart my game. Just figured let the devs know so they can fix!
