Personally, I really love Bison in Call of the wild and I also love class 9 species and also Great ones. Now let's combine them for our first Class 9 Great one, the Bison! Bison have some incredible rares and are really fun to hunt. In my opinion they'd make an Incredible Great one. I can't imagine there being a lot of unique horn variants, like the Tahr, but could have some really nice furs, again like the Tahr.

I'd like to clarify, I have no pictures to add to this post, since I am a horrible artist and couldn't find and very cool Bison horns online, so I appologize. If anybody would like to draw some concepts feel free, I would appreciate it greatly!

If we are to get a g1 wood bison, it should carry over to plains bison and wisent imo.

Same applies to rm/roos/Manitoba Elk, blacktail/mule deer

This is the B&C world record Bison, look at those horns 🤩 Would work super cool as a Great one

Maybe small rack to keep things semi realistic for players who don’t enjoy things like previously shown. This could maybe even be a max score diamond one day, if Bison get a remodel.

I was thinking they could be named after weather conditions.

Fabled Storm: Dark Grey with some scaring across face and torso

Fabled Sun: Light tan (Similar to leu, but not at the same time.)

Fabled cloudy: White with specs of brown and possibly gold.

Fabled Moonlight: Dark Black with white specs. Similar to Fabled Spotted bear.

More suggestions welcome!

We have now seen how Wood Bison look in game and how a diamond one looks (Possibly as small as they get diamond wise, but still)
They look extremelly beautiful and I wish they were the G1 species.

Possible "Fabled Sun" this bison would normally be known as a blonde or Golden bison.

As Fuzion said, bison and tahr don’t have Antlers… The main focus of the Tahr (And bison if a G1 Bison ever happens) Would be the fur types. Bison also do have some potential for nice horns, which was previously discussed.

Fox GO has 9 fur. And????? All grinders abandoned it and returned to old G1. Only antlers have matters. Big antlers.

I didn’t say Bear and Pheasant were the most popular, I just said people like them. Tahr don’t drink that’s why nobody really grinds for them. We already have 4 antlered Great ones, 1 horned and 3 without antlers or Horns. It’s time for a class 9 great one and time for another one with horns.

Not all like fur. But it normal for predators like the black bear or fox. Tahr has antlers but small and not remarkable. Goat, ibex. mouflon, bighorn etc have much better antlers. Bison the same. Small and not remarkable antlers. But we talk about Fabled animals. Without restrictions for artists. I want big horns others want beautiful fur..... Why not to put it together?

The new Mule deer have semi-unrealistic antlers, some do exist in real life. They can’t go overboard with the Bison, since they don’t have strikingly large horns. I said in my original message that they should have horns similar to the Tahr, but have beautiful furs.
