I'm sorry to hear you lost your progress after uninstalling the game and switching PCs.
If you are playing the game through the Epic Games Store, please be informed that your data is only saved locally on the PC you're using, as cloud saves on Epic Games are currently not supported for theHunter: Call of the Wild.
Due to this, it would only be possible to recover your previous progress if you have a backup copy of your save files created before you uninstalled the game from your previous PC.
We recommend regularly backing up your save files to ensure no progress is lost in case of unfortunate situations. Your save files are stored in the Avalanche Studios\COTW\Saves subfolders located in your Documents.
To create a backup, simply copy the folder and paste it into a cloud drive or a USB storage device. Whenever you'd like to load the data, replace your current saves folder with the backup copy.

What I did is copy and pasted the avalanche folder from my laptop and pasted on a usb drive or hard drive. Then I just deleted the avalanche folder on the pc and pasted in the one from my laptop. Worked just fine have everything I left with.
