Bring back theAngler/ theAngler 2.0

So I know this is for theHunter: Call of the wild, and not for fishing, but I have a suggestion that would benefit both games. Imagine you could taxidermy trophy fish in theAngler, and put them in your cotw Lodge? I’m not exactly sure how they could do it, but maybe something with Apex connect account? I also have a few Multimount ideas I’ll share.

Mounts:

Hungry bear 1 Kokanee Salmon; 1 Male Grizzly bear

Fighting Fish 1 Tiger Musky and 1 Northern Pike

Gator troubles 1 Small Mouth Bass and 1x Male American Alligator

Let me know what you think of this idea! Feel free to share your own opinions and ideas, just try to keep it civil and be kind.

PS: The Gator one is supposed to show an example of a taxidermy gator, but I also think Wood Ducks should be backfilled onto Mississippi and this should become a mount.

If we end up getting theAngler 2, we would need freshwater and Saltwater. No Alaska map and no Florida map really made the game feel boring IMO.

Edit I’m changing this post to bring back theAngler/ theAngler 2.0, like suggested in this threads’s comments.

They have stopped updating theAngler for the forseeable future. However, I would love a Grizzly Bear eating salmon as a mount

I do know about them giving up on theAngler, which is a real shame. But it couldn’t be that difficult to just implement Taxidermy right? Maybe as a surprise little gift before stopping for good. And who knows, maybe with Taxidermy the game gains a lot of popularity and they begin working on it again?

Yeah that is true, but with fishing being on the recent survey, we can still hope for fish mounts in cotw!

I think as cervid said fish could be used as props in multi mounts but there will be no update to the angler to make this a possibility

I do now understand this wasn’t the brightest idea lol, but I’d still like to see fish mounts in COTW. I would prefer them not being props, but if that’s the only option, sure. Just thought I’d share a recent idea of mine

The Angler 2.0 on the open sea. It would be the best fishing game ever. I’m all about marlin and tuna.

Definitely. With much more maps, including Saltwater and Freshwater. Maybe 5+ maps each. I’d personally like a saltwater Florida map.

Me personally I thin the anglers maps are so big that a fresh water and salt water Florida map could be combined with over 20 species

I wanted to see a Texas or Louisiana map full of giant gar and catfish along with white bass and striped bass or hybrid bass and more bait options like cut bait and kool aid bait
