If only Kenya allowed Big Game Hunting

Heck the Kenyan Ambassador to Namibia wound up in hot water for hunting a Kudu in Namibia and I think he even got fired despite hunting being legal in Namibia

The Kenyan Government is also known for being against big game hunting in general given their complaints about elephant hunting being legal in Tanzania

Totally understandable but at the same time, the best argument is SUNDARPATAN like no one expected that reserve let alone in Asia reserve before the announcement not to mention having snow leopard on there was like the biggest head scratcher so at this point anything is possible I’m sure EW can find some way plus I chose Kenya because dad usually where you wouldn’t wanna go for like a big banger for Africa 2.0 with the amount of wildlife in areas to explore yeah I thought it would be a great area

Sundarpatan is set in Nepal though, which does have a hunting reserve (Dhorpatan Hunting Reserve) that is referenced in the story dialogue as Sundarpatan is a fictional hunting reserve that seems to have been recently established.

Oddly enough Kenya apparently allows bird hunting on either designated hunting areas or on private land, though I have not been able to find any recent info with one post on the African Hunting Forum from 2015 talking about it (https://www.africahunting.com/threads/bird-hunting-in-kenya.22172/)

As far as huntable birds go

  • Most ducks and geese
    • Species that are off-limits are Maccoa Duck, African Black Duck, White-backed Duck, Spur-winged Goose and African Pygmy Geese
  • Pigeons and Doves
  • Common, African Blue and Harlequin Quail + Stone Partridge
  • Sandgrouse
  • Guineafowl
  • Francolins/Spurfowl
    In other words: African Salzwiesen

Being a bird map is the only way I think a Kenyan Map in this game could work since Big Game hunting has been banned there since the 70s and a lot of the big game species in Kenya also exist in Tanzania and Ethiopia, a pair of countries that allow big game hunting

If only Kenyans weren’t completely against hunting… no, just no. This map wouldn’t work. Something like South Africa or Tanzania would work better.
