Here's my suggestion for an Alaskan Aleutian Islands map. I think the landscape is nice and open, and would be a great chance for a different waterfowl and bird map.

On this map, I think it could be a cool idea and a great chance to implement a boat system where there could maybe be two or multiple islands to hunt on, and the player can boat back and forth between them. One large Island to hunt on is also fine with me, though. I think adding a volcano to the map would also be great and something new to see in the landscape so far!

I don't know what season would be best for this map, or if it would need to be a specific one.

Here's my suggestion for the animal roster for this map. Filled circle means new animals, unfilled means returning:

●Feral Cattle (Class 7 or 8?)
○Grizzly Bear (Class 7)
○Reindeer (Class 6)
○Grey Wolf/Alexander Archipelago Wolf (Class 6)
●Stellar Sea Lion? (Class 5?)
● Harbour Seal? (Class 4?)
●Spotted Seal? (Class 4?)
●Arctic Fox (Class 2)
●Wolverine (Class 2)
●Sea Otters? (Class 2)
●Alaskan Hare (Class 1)
●Puffins? (Class 1)
●King Eider (Class 1)
●Pacific Eider (Class 1)
○Harlequin Duck (Class 1)
●Long Tailed Duck (Class 1)
○Green-Winged Teal Duck (Class 1)
○Northern Pintail (Class 1)
○Mallard Duck (Class 1)
○Canada Goose? (Class 1)
●Aleutian Cackling Goose? (Class 1)
●Emperor Goose (Class 1)
●Pacific Brant (Class 1)
○Willow Ptarmigan (Class 1)
○Rock Ptarmigan (Class 1)

It's hard to find all of the information, so please do give your thoughts, suggestions, or additions. Question marks are next to animals I'm really unsure of and/or don't believe are allowed to be hunted by non-narives from what I saw.

Polar Bears haven’t lived that far south for at least a few thousand years according to this article: https://www.nature.com/articles/s41598-025-88996-0

I wouldn’t be opposed to pinnipeds like Sea Lion and harbour seal though, the only other way we would get pinnipeds outside an Arctic Map would be to have Cape Fur Seals on a Namibian Reserve

Another large animal that occurs in a wild state are the feral cattle of Umnak and Chirikof Islands (https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aleutian_wild_cattle)

To keep it balanced they could have one or two herds on the largest island

Oh that sounds good too, I'll add those as well. And yeah, I really don't think I'd truly want polar bears on this map anyway since they'd be far better for the kind of arctic map everyone is wanting (edit: I've gone ahead and removed polar bear from the list)

Edited the list to show new and returning animals, as well as included classes!

Also, here's some more photos of the possible animals:

The Kodiak bear would be a good addition animal to this map where it would be heavier and taller than the grizzly and brown bear but would also allow grizzlies a chance for a rework since this bear is a direct subspecies of grizzly bear with a behavioral change to the grizzly and certain brown bears in the revontuli coast map

With this map it could add a new dog breed into the game the Karelian bear dog which could used for tracking and baying large game animals and large predators due to their background with bear hunting

#

This breed would be mainly used to hunt predators class 5-9 and big game like cape and water buffaloes

I'd definitely love a dog breed like that in the game, especially if it would warn about attacking animals by default, unlike the others where you have to choose the skill at higher levels.

That just gave me an idea this dog breed would give predators the option to mock charge instead of just killing the player due to the dogs ability to ward off predator attacks

#

Or the dog could distract the predator by running in between the animal and the human making the predator lock on and chase the dog 50-100 yards away And add a new protection animation with the dog growling and barking infront of the player when a predator is near

That would be the kind of dog that I'd probably make good use of in the game lol

Fr cause I’ve had several bears run at me and I get killed or my dog bark at a tiger but the tiger doesn’t run away

It's always wolves for me, they're so aggressive

For wolves I always pull out the 10mm kill most of them then die to one wolf 😭

Yeah, they're very persistent. I've figured out that if I carry around a tripod, I can set it up as soon as I hear the growling and then they can't reach me.

That’s smart
