A lightweight rifle that combines the speed of a lever action rifle with the long reach of a bolt action rifle.

Coming with new ammunition that covers classes 3-7, this rifle is perfect for exploring new lands as it offers both long range accuracy and a fast cycling action for close range opportunities.

The .270 cartridge has proven itself for game of all kinds from springbok and gazelle in Africa to black bear and moose in North America. The ammunition the Wardens chose to offer alongside this rifle are lighter 130 grain Non-toxic copper bullets with both polymer and hollow point designs available.

While it comes standard with iron sights, you can easily mount any standard rifle scope or dot sight, or the tritium sights preferred for hunting in poor lighting conditions

Whenever the hunt takes you, the .270 Explorer will make sure you're well prepared.

(The .270 Huntsman and it's variants can also benefit from the new ammunition allowing it to take class 3 game)

I'd love to get a BLR and BAR in the game. Longer range lever action, adding another .270 is a great suggestion, and a more classic semi auto compared to the military style ones we have would be neat too.

Hear me out.

Add this rifle as the very first single rifle dlc with 2 ammo types covering different class ranges. A soft point 130gr covering classes 3-5 and 170 gr poly tipped bullet covering classes 5-8. Add some tritium sights and price it 2.99$ I'm betting people will buy it just to get the ammo options but some guys will be ecstatic for the whole deal

No point in adding a 270. If they don’t buff it to the power it actually has irl which would then put the 308. Out of business

3 different guns each for .308 and .30-06. The devs have their favorites but I'm still asking for variety, I don't care if it should be stronger, it won't be the same thing over and over again

I’ve yet to ever track game after using a .270.

Every one has always dropped right in it’s tracks.

This one was chasing a doe with another buck and already had his blood up, but it didn’t matter, the .270 just shreds internals. The side of entry looked like an exit.

Ecostrike bullets are 130gr monometal bullets designed for larger game like deer, boar and red stag.

Evostrike bullets weigh just 96gr and are designed for light game like chamois, antelope, and roe deer but is equally effective for such game as coyotes, jackals, and lynx

270 was my first purchase in game. After elk hunt with the 270 I bought first dlc with 30.06. That's how it works.

Hopefully if they do this they'll reclassify the .270 as a 3-8 and buff it in the process. Should perform better on some class 8 animals, while still being ethical for Roe and Pronghorn.

This is such a cool suggestion. It's something really fresh, but also revitalizes part of the game already existing.
