#Engine improvements or a straight up sequel

So, with the big news that polar bears ain't gonna be in the next DLC, I think that perhaps the engine is the problem here; being far too restrictive for the devs to do what they and the players want.

I know such a feat would be Herculean bordering on Sisyphean but I think it'd make many players rly happy to see a truly revamped game.

Nothing to suggest any engine problems when adding polar bears

I would much rather a secuel since My computer barely tolerates the game an engine update might rob me of my favorite game

Whats that nonsense... no polarbears due to engine restrictions? Lol... sorry, but this is nonsense.

It's like saying you can't get a radio for your car because you have a diesel engine. It has nothing to do with each other. The polarbears not being implemented is a simple design descision.
We have seen advanced techniques e.g. in the tigers from sundarpatan. Be sure, this has nothing to do with the game engine. So please stop spreading this nonsense.

Africa 2.0 surely will be the last new map cotw receives. EW will use the hype around africa 2.0 until the there is no more meat on this bone. This will keep the community running. I guess africa 2.0 will come but it will be the grand finale for the cotw development

According to Vivi, they need to make changes to the engine to create a good experience on an Arctic map, which is understandable since half of the Arctic map would be aquatic, with swimming mammals. So far, we don't have any swimming mammals; the Beaver will be the first, and I assume it will serve as a basis for designing the others in the future. The other problem is the enormous amount of water and floating ice that the engine will have to render, something that has never been done before, so we don't know if it's even possible.

We have already received official confirmation that there are engine problems creating Africa 2.0 with elephants and giraffes, due to their size and that no lodges is prepared to place them taxidermied.

We just have to hope that they can fix it or if it is possible or they have the time to do so.

I think what they will do is increase render

Ig it just comes from my desire to see an extensive rework of many fundamental parts of the game

Elephants and giraffes are only big peace of meat. Yes, good for funny grind, newbies, and content. Especially with BFG. But not everyone like it. The life in the maps are staic. Only one map among other give us a real dangerous hunt feelings. Sundapatan. The game needs a big rework and elephants are a distracting circus instead of a patch. Lions in Vurhonga are the cute dogs not dangerous predators.

Just take Arshak's words from last year's devs, no changes have been made yet to expand the Lodges

...We could do pretty much anything so yes we do if we consider it, it’s something that gets looked at quite often but when you have animals like Giraffes or Elephants you also have to consider that they’re pretty big animals so if you put them in your Trophy Hall their heads would basically go through the ceiling so we can’t just put them in and you know what happens with bugs so it’s a big decision that has downstream ramifications ((Lots of consequences)) that we have to consider so the short answer is NO, it’s not on the roadmap but it is on our radar but since it’s a bigger request it needs to have a lot of consideration and love before being placed in the game it’s a difficult one.
