I recently went to a trophy lodge that I haven't been to in quite a long time, where I had a Diamond turkey with a 4.61 score, back when turkeys scored Diamond at 4.60 before it was changed to 4.62. And that trophy medal was changed to Gold. It's understandable because the score isn't Diamond anymore, but it's unfortunate that it couldn't have been grandfathered in.
That's not the main issue. In that lodge, I also have a 216 scoring Plains Bison that is Gold, from back before Diamond was changed to 183.5 with their horns rework. I don't remember what Diamond used to be for them, but I do remember that 216 was for sure Gold so it's not like I missed part of the integrity to drop the score. But, the medal didn't change on this one and it is still Gold.
So why does a medal downgrade when the score changes but the medal doesn't upgrade?? Not a big deal, just inconsistent.
