We all can agree that we NEED another backfilling. Here’s a list of which species could go on a certain map.

Fallow deer (Not personally a fan, but only one that works)

Pheasants and Thar are both species the could theoretically work for Vurhonga, as Pheasants are widespread and introduced in South Africa and there’s a small population of Tahr in the mountains of the western cape.

Pheasants could def work. But the Tahr wouldn’t work at all. They are only found on Table mountain as escaped zoo animals that got overpopulated. Vurhonga is supposedly Eastern Cape so it just wouldn’t work.

The ones in game are Columbian Blacktail. The ones that would be in Yukon are Sitka blacktail.

Well seeing as there Lesser Kudu and Eurasian Wigeon on the map, Tahr would work fairly well as it seems that Vurhonga doesn’t care about the accuracy of an animals range.

But the tahr we have here aren’t wild at all. Lesser Kudu and Wigeon don’t make sense, but a species only found on one mountain in the entire country would be absolutely outrageous.

Well think about it. There’s only one mountain on Vurhonga, yes?

Does the plateau not look like a table? It’s a plateau, also called a TABLEland.

The environment is completely different. Vurhonga is much more dry, while Table mountain looks like this. Much more lush and green.

And again, they are escaped zoo animals

Future African Reserves could provide some more suitable backfill species for Vurhonga provided they officially come out and tell us where in Africa is Vurhonga Savannah is set because so far the possible locatiosn that were all mentioned by EW are Botswana, Tanzania and South Africa

Plus Tahr would be a more suitable backfill for Parque then Vurhonga

Love this, but I feel like they won't backfill layton or hirch becuase they're the og maps and it would require big changes to the layton trophy cabin and give people less reason to buy other dlc's. But the rest I love, maybe even Roosevelt' in te awarowa????

Roosevelt’s never occurred in New Zealand, the Wapiti in New Zealand are Rocky Mountain Elk

Really, I thought they were there as an introduced species like red deer, I cloud be wrong tho\

Roosevelt (the president) introduced Rocky Mountain elk as far as I’m aware
