i think that it is not very fun when you sink instantly but animals float fine.
you might say that your gear is very heavy, which is true but animals that a way over 1k lbs float easily and yet someone 300lbs sinks instantly and does not float.
swimming should not be super fast and not faster than walking. it should be the speed of crouching and make 3 or 2 red bars of noise and the bigger the backpack the slower the swimming is and you cant shoot or spot while swimming.
i hope you read this and seriously considire this concept.
