#Predator Population Reduction …

I have read many threads relating to the issue with predators on certain map and possibly the over population of predators …..

I would like to propose a solution that each individual hunter can do to reduce the overall predator population on their own maps …. The solution is obviously to hunt the predators down.

This would involve setting a slower re-spawn rate on the predators than the other animals. This will allow the hunter to kill the predators and slow down their ability to impact their game herds

The downside of this of course is for those who are specifically targeting or grinding predators for trophies … The more you kill the slower their re-spawn rate will be ….

This re-spawn rate will act like hunting pressure in that eventually with no predators killed it will eventually come back to normal levels but temporarily the hunter can impact the predator population just by killing them ….

I wouldn't mind the respawns to be similar (not exactly) like the tigers & Snow leopards. For C:5+ Predators with populations reduced by a 3rd or 1/2 max. The Only exception to this is reserves that are designed to be intended. Parque Fernando is intended to have high puma populations as explained in the narrative so its intentional. I'll further add pathing, & behavior ai should also be revisted. I'm going to encourage all predators have hunting behaviors with specific prey to keep it simple. This will allow predator irl hunters like myself to have an alternative way to hunt predators other than the E-Caller. I'd also propose prey decoys as well as prey blood scents since we have goose decoys & estrus scents in-game. I find this to also be a reasonable alternative & a fair request.
