When I load the game, everything is fine. when I try to tab out, it instantly crashed and I have to reload the game. This is really annoying because I cannot check if I'm recording when i try to make a video.

If you intend to tab out of the game while playing, please consider running the game in windowed or borderless windowed mode. Using fullscreen mode and tabbing out of the game can negatively affect its performance.
On Steam, borderless mode can be enabled by typing /borderless into the Launch Options text box in the game's Properties, and on Epic Games it can be enabled by typing -borderless into the Additional Command Line Arguments section of the game's settings.
