I’m spotting Tahr, it will say they are eating but the zone won’t mark? I’m on Xbox. Anyone else having this problem?

Nah, they are calm. I’ve had a few chamois zones do it as well. I had to actually go up and click the zone in the grass for it to register and mark the zone

Happened to me aswell on PC. Also sometimes it does not work by clicking on the ground either. Seems to happen when there is allready a Chamois zone and then it wont add the Tahr zone

Also happened on my pc. Although sometimes when I go up to the grass it doesnt even pick up. Now the animals dont even show up with my scope or binocs, yes the setting is on for spotting

Same thing happening to me. Tahr zones are not discoverable

Found a temporary work around and hoping it gets patched fixed soon.
If you change the time to 14:00 - 20:00 you can find the tahr zones even if there’s already a chamois zone. I think it’s because the chamois are resting at this time and not feeding at the same time as tahr. I find 14:00 - 17:00 being best as it’s still light.

If you’ve already found a chamois zone and then find tahr feeding at that same zone (anytime between 4:00 - 11:00) then you can’t find the tahr zones. They cannot be feeding at the same time.

I've found the same thing (PC). The HUD shows zone discovered but the map doesn't populate additional discoveries in the box that shows the animal times for that particular event and time.
