In light of the new “Rapid Hunt” Weapon Pack, I bring my own weapon pack idea: “The Big Boys”. These are all insanely large and powerful weapons that I would love to see in the game, especially if we end up getting more dangerous and large game in the future.

1: the .505 Gibbs (Class 8 - 9)

This is a monstrous caliber, capable of taking down even the toughest of game from Moose to Elephants. This caliber is an underrated round compared to its brothers the .700 Nitro and the .416 Rigby, but still a killer round nonetheles.

2: the .80 “Brown Bess” (Class 7 - 9)

This monstrous muzzleloader is nothing to be scoffed at. This muzzleloader is capable of taking down the toughest of game, from Bears to Bison. It is the largest commercially produced muzzleloading caliber to have ever been produced, and although underrated, is still capable.

3: the .500 S&W Magnum (Class 6 - 9)

This gigantic pistol is ideal for any hunter looking for overkill levels of protection, or big game hunters who love to get closer to their prey. This round will shoot clean through any bear or buffalo that comes your way.

All of these calibers would be contenders for a future class 10 if it is ever added alongside Elephants, Rhinos, or Hippos.

A few other calibers that didn’t get put in the pack but could definitely be put in a pack such as this:

the .50 AE (Class 5 - 8)

A Perfect defense weapon against large and dangerous animals, and while not generally a hunting caliber, can definitely hold its own.

the .404 Jeffery (Class 8 - 9)

Another underrated Safari round much like its cousin, the .505 Gibbs. This round is popular among Cape buffalo hunters and can hold its own on the plains.

the .458 Lott (Class 8 - 9)

Once again a monster of a safari round, this caliber is popular among many safari hunters and earns its spot in the Safari lineup.

the .405 Winchester (Class 6 - 9)

A legendary round used extensively in Africa, it was a favorite of President Teddy Roosevelt.

the .500 Nitro Express (Class 9)

This is a favorite among buffalo hunters, as well as used extensively to hunt Elephants and Hippos. It has enough stopping power to take anything down in its way.

This weapon pack would go great for a potential Arctic or Africa 2.0 map. Both have large predators (Polar Bears and Wolves for Arctic; Lions, Leopards, and Hyenas for Africa) and large and dangerous animals that aren’t predators (Musk Ox, Moose, and Walrus for Arctic; Elephants, Hippos Giraffes, and Rhinos for Africa).

I will say, personally I’d want .405 and .500S&W to be 6-9 given their use cases irl.

This would be awrsome. I think the 405win would be sweet. Maybe even adding a 338 RUM? I guess it would still basically be the 375/338 though, just better ballistics perhaps? And for handguns maybe 475 linebaugh, 460mag, 41mag(i know its not the largest but it could be added), and .50GI in a 1911 platform maybe?

I wish we could use the 45colt in the 454 revolver. You can irl. And same for 38/357 and 44spcl/44mag which we already have in game. It would allow you to take smaller game with the same rifle, and in the leveractions maybe hold an extra round.

Hilariously powerful weapons are something I want more of in game, ESPECIALLY muzzleloaders. An .80 would be something I use constantly just because it'd be absurdly fun

I want every weapon "type" to cover every class personally. Give us muzzleloaders that go from class 1-9, lever actions too, falling block rifles, all that stuff. A super powerful muzzleloader is a dream weapon for me
