Piebald Red Fox

In Finland every year, about four thousand reindeer lose their lives on Finnish roads in car accidents, so they paint their antlers with reflective paint so drivers can see them at night.

The UK record Muntjac

Leucistic red foxes from the UK and Ireland (pelt is from my own collection). Many of these are likely hybrids with escaped farm/pet foxes

Aren’t some of those piebald, because piebald red foxes come in many forms and some look like that.

Those are all leucstic because they have diluted colours. These are some piebald red foxes from the UK

In Europe red foxes also have a unique form of piebald spotting known as fawn spots or snowflake pattern. All these are also from the UK and in some areas it is so common that almost all foxes have these white spots

Any form of partial lack of pigmentation is leucism, a kind of leucism is piebald so calling those leucistic isn't wrong.
