Steyr Scout

A rifle which I think would be a good fit into the game would be the steyr scout, envisioned by jeff cooper as the frontiersman's rifle was an ultra light weight small form factor rifle intended for use in hunting, it featured a long eye relief scout by default as well as an integrated bipod in a polymer body, this rifle could be made as an addition in one of its many calibers be it 223, 243, 6.5 creed, 7mm, 376 steyr or smaller calibers like 17hmr or 22wmr
I think this could be a very interesting addition if the devs were to integrate the included bipod as a function ingame or add its long eye relief scope giving players a new way to visualise their target down range, being that it also is featured in many calibers it means that the devs have many choices on what caliber they want to add it with, for example a first time appearance caliber 6.5mm creed, 376 steyr or 17hmr or could add it with a pre existing caliber like 308 winchester or 243 winchester

A modern military surplus rifle chambered in 7.62x51/308 with a higher then average capacity 10 round magazine based on the m40 rifle platform

m2010 ESR

Another modern military rifle chambered in .300 winchester magnum with a much more advanced design featuring a floating handguard similar to the in-game ar15 pattern rifles like the arzyna and zarza, this rifle could also bring the introduction of .300 norma magnum to the game as well

unfortunate I guess we should get rid of the 223, 300, 450, 303, 30 06, 338, 300, 45 70, 30 30, 6.5mm 45 colt, 270, 16 gauge, 20 gauge, could also get rid of 308s too as well then
they're all just overshadowed and or too heavy
and just get rid of any rifle that isn't the arzyna or zarza because they're all too overshadowed

plus anyways a "heavier rifle" (as if the Devs dont embellish rifles anyways like the t3x varmint going from being 3.8kg to 2 ingame) would mean you'll deal with less recoil and it wouldnt get thrown around as easy

None of the things you listed are overshadowed at all… you even listed the calibers the AR’s are chambered in.

As it turns out, modern military snipers don’t typically make the best hunting rifles… shocker I know

Whether it’s the ballistics of the ammo, the practicallity, or other wise.

well the 223 is overshadowed by 22 250, 300 canning is overshadowed by the arzyna, 308 Olsson is overshadowed by the zarza, 303 is overshadowed by the zarza, 30 06 is overshadowed by the zarza, 16 and 20 gauge are overshadowed by the 12 gauge, 270 and 6.5mm are overshadowed by the zarza, 30 30 and 45 70 are overshadowed by the zarza, 338 is overshadowed by 375 and the arzyna, 450 is overshadowed by the zarza

The olsson outperforms the zarza in nearly every aspect except rpm.

The ingame stats mean absolutely nothing. They are completely useless.

Range, accuracy, accuracy at range, and wobble are all better when using the olsson

The Hawken Rifle has proven itself in the hunting industry and isn’t 1,000,000lbs

Mosin’s, Enfields, and quite a few M1 Garands have also proven themselves in the hunting industry while not being 1,000,000lbs

Anti-Material Rifles and the rounds they shoot don’t make good hunting rounds.

uh huh, anti material rifles like 300 norma (caliber used in hunting) 308 winchester and whichever variation of the Steyr scout (actual hunting rifle)

.300 Norma is questionable at best and it certainly wouldn’t put it past me if you wanted .50BMG.

I’d love the Steyr Scout but it’s the $20,000 “sniper” rifles you threw in for no reason.
