Hey i know i just joined this server 10 minutes ago but THIS is the reason why i did it, to suggest thebDanube Delta map, which would honestly be really intresting and unique, so hear me out :

Species :

  1. wild boar
  2. wild horse [class 8] (you will only be able to hunt ONE horse once a session since they are a protected species here in romania, if i remember correctly)
  3. pelicans [class 2] (also pretty protected but forget about it)
  4. herons [class 2]
  5. cormorans class [1]
  6. european mink [1] (they are quite small so idk if they would even be huntable)
  7. european otter [2]
  8. golden jackal [4]
  9. white-tailed eagle [2]
  10. red deer
  11. seagull [1]
  12. goose
  13. ducks
  14. glossy ibis [2]

[X] - class

Most of these species are unique to the game and honestly the glossy ibis is really intresting
Now about the map, the denube delta can either be very clean and steep, to very dense vegetation, which i think is great for people who want to challange themselves and train, and the plains can be easly for new players (or just people wanting to go for a relaxing hunt) to hunt low to mid and even the high class 8, the wild horse

I think that Glossy Ibis should be a class 1 or maybe class 2 animal. They’re birds, so they’re not terribly strong. Class 3 would put them on par with Blackbuck and Axis Deer, which seems a bit big for them.

I also would say to remove White-Tailed Eagles from the roster, as Birds of Prey don’t really fit with the games style.

Other than that it’s a great map idea, I think that this would make for a good map.

I mean, they’re basically Swans just huge. I could see them working. Plus, Dalmatian Pelicans are gigantic, they’d be a pretty cool trophy imo.

Eagles for sure, probably the ibises as well (although I really like Ibises so I’m biased), and Pelicans probably, albeit I would really like to see them in game as they’d be the largest bird in game (and probably the largest flying bird we could ever get in game other than perhaps Bustards). I agree that they’re unnecessary, but then again so are many species we’ve gotten in game such as Wooly hare of all things on Nepal.

Honestly i dont see any "useless" species in the game, if i can shoot them then theyr good to go. Now that may just be my newbie trait "you see it you shoot it"

I think that eagles and other birds of prey are species that we shouldn’t have in game as Huntable species as they simply don’t fit as a species. There’s no way to bait them or call them, and they almost always fly too high to shoot.

Using them as hunting companions similar to dogs would work imo. They’re used in falconry often, and it would work for hunting bobwhite, rabbits, or even raccoons
