I like the species list: It focuses on what draws hunters to the Yucatan Peninsula and doesn't feature any controversial species like jaguar (Which can be better left for a South American Reserve anyways) which isn't a bad thing as not every map needs species that can't be hunted irl

One little nitpick that I have: to my knowledge there are no Northern Bobwhite (the bobwhite we have in game) in the Yucatan Peninsula. Rather there is the Yucatan Bobwhite, which is a different species found in Mexico, Belize, Nicaragua, Guatemala and Honduras.

If they were to add proper tree physics, this would be the map. Ocellated turkey tend to spend more time roosting than the northern species and you hunt them more often in their roost because the amount of pressure on the forest floor by predators.

The particular bird in the picture is the crested guan.

That turkey looks incredible, we need a jungle map as much as we need a desert map, i suppose you already know that peccaries and gray foxes already are in game but fyi

@lyric dock Yes i know but like a more desertlike map, i’ve played Rancho del Arroyo and it’s one of my favorites and i get that it’s trying to represent the mexican desert but it isn’t like a hardcore desert like the mongolian or the sahara, now those are ”real” deserts.
