A few people have already talked about this (linked below), I'm just reiterating some things I've noticed to get the word back out there. I'm gonna list some differences between actual wolves and the ones in game, along with pictures of COTW and IRL wolves below.
Gray
- The necks of the wolves in game are too thick compared to their IRL counterparts. Specifically, the top of the neck that connects to the neck needs to be toned way down (i.e., the back of the head should be higher than the top of the neck). I personally think this makes them look way too bulky and more like a male wolf in a Disney movie than in a reserve.
- The faces are too fluffy. Like, WAY too fluffy. Their heads look like rhombuses, and paired with the overly furry neck, once again, makes them absolute beefcakes to look at.
Both - A tiny design change, but the tails are a bit long for their bodies. IRL wolf tails tend to end where the foot meets the curved part of the back leg (I'm not aware of the technical term for it), but the tails of both the Iberian and Gray wolf end just above the paws in the game.
- Another small one, ears are too semi-circle shaped and less triangular and straight.
(I did not create the art for the Gray Wolf, by the way, that was made by Magdalena Rybkowska on Facebook.)
