I was doing quest in Hirschferden reserve and shot wild boar, I was aiming for head due to poor angle and not caring about ruining its rating.
Animal dropped on spot, when coming close I couldn't harvest animal dog says tracking prey.
Blood investigation revealed that I missed shot (no organs hit) but animal still dropped on spot.
I tried fast travel and move time by 1 minute, after that animal disappeared with Blood track being only visible on map but not in game.
Day before I was also at this lake and shot wild boar, when approaching I interacted with dog and my UI got stuck on dog without any controls or abillity to enter menu. (I have not record incident with dog)
