So little bit of a long story but I just got a new wifi provider and I connected my xbox to it and because my xbox ain't been used for a month or 2 it's got to update but I'm worried when I go to play Call of the wild my progress won't be there cause the new wifi change? It seemed like last time I changed my wifi I thought it erased all my progress? Any help would be a huge thanks and less worrying 😟

Howdy Diesel! This shouldn't cause you any issues. Xbox saves your game to your console and to the cloud. Changing internet providers won't affect this. Happy hunting!! z_COTW

be careful not to factory reset. Even resetting but keeping all games and apps will still remove your profile and your save data. That's exactly how I lost trophies when I didn't have a reliable xbox or wifi

Ahh yes, good point Seamus! That would erase your save on your console and then would be updated to the cloud. I don't think a factory reset is something your considering but still a good point 😉
