#Addition to the game

Hey @pallid cosmos ! Thanks for your suggestions! We always appreciate hearing what players would love to see in the game. Adding more vehicle options, like UTVs, is definitely an interesting idea, and we’ll keep it in mind for future developments. As for silencers, we aim to balance realism with gameplay, but we’re always evaluating new features.
Keep the feedback coming - we love hearing from our community! You can also visit us here: https://support.thehunter.com/hc/en-us/requests/new.
Silencers are real tho. And you can actually use them while hunting in real life to prevent from spooking your prey
Well… almost. Suppressors definitely have their place in hunting but the lines become blurred when you don’t have to worry about protecting your ears and render distance is 400yds.
Well you can do it on certain guns that are higher powered for longer range. You know the ones that are really loud and will scare anything away in a 10 mile radius
I’m willing to bet just about anything that quite literally explodes is going to scare a few animals
True but still it would be a cool thing to have
Again, suppressors definitely have their place in hunting but that becomes hard to justify and implement when you don’t have to worry about protecting your hearing and render distance is a measly 400yds.
I have mixed feelings about silencers ... and just because they are used IRL is not a good enough reason due to their potential to unbalance the game.
Silencers could very easily become meta if not balanced correctly. So they need to be carefully considered before adding ....
I would be very disappointed if they were added without safeguards just to sell another dlc which no doubt everyone would buy ....
for atvs maybe this #1328748661122797568
I'm on board with ya here. I wouldn't mind having them if we get weapon slots to further modify our weapons as an additional muzzle attachment. To me they should be like the 22LR that they won't spook after the 1st shot but after the 2nd, they start getting nervous or flee. As a buff reduced recoil by a % or effects muzzle rise. Con added weight and slower fire rate I think is fair. As for UTV's would love a 2-seater for co-op play with a built-in storage like the jeeps were in the Angler. But I'd rather get Horses with saddle bags as a tier unlock b4 UTV's.
I like your balancing suggestions but I think also making silencer loose effectiveness after a certain number of shots as well as making them very expensive to purchase .... EW mould have better metrics on how much they should cost ... I don't grind and grinders would be the primary purchasers of these items ....
...
Also not opposed to a multi seat ATV but would rather see additional storage with horses/mules and dogs #1071107633571963031 message
I wish you had to buy dlc's in the in-game store it takes away from the credit use when thier free to collect sadly. If it were me it would tie into weapon mastery as a final unlock with a price tag.
who knows they might add a mastery mechanic to unlock stocks, barrels, bipods, & muzzle attachments 🤷♂️
Absolutely make silencers a max level item to purchase ... So you have to be at least lvl 60 to purchase ....
Also they would make a good DLC item if they had a usage count .... If you buy the DLC you could get 5 silencers regardless of LVL
but to get more you would need to re-purchase the DLC or spend a good chunk of in game credits at lvl 60 .... This is basically the way they handle tents and stands ... You can repurchase the DLC to get 5 more in inventory or buy then with in game coin ....
I'm very much in support of EW having some way of making $$ above a single DLC purchase
I'd gladly buy an attachment dlc. But I still feel a weapon mastery for ea. weapon is needed to unlock them over the overall weapon type mastery. I suggested it before that the more you use a weapon you level up the individual mastery that allows you to be more efficient with that weapon that'll stack with your skills. I feel more depth in progression and in-game credit use is what the game needs. A good # I'm sure bought everything already and your sitting on a lot of credits while only using it for perishables, taxidermies, & tents blinds etc. 😓
well I guess you have paint & reticles but still.
I can get behind specific weapon proficiency but that too would also need to be balance carefully .... for example what does weapon efficiency look like at 10%, 50% or 100% ??? ..
Would 100% efficiency be too OP? ... inquiring minds need know ....
Paint and reticles are kind of useless to me ... I don't really change reticles once I find the one I like ... and I don't use paint at all and probably wont until they add 3rd person camera so I can actually enjoy the paint customization
...
I see it as you're a novice to a pro perspective. - I use the paints on my blinds and tents and with wood stocks. Polymer/synthetic stocks would vary on my use but its nice using it on Medved with the snow ghilie. But I agree if we had the ability to apply it to clothing it would be sweet esp. in 3rd person.
And when you start talking about specific weapon proficiency then keeping them in balance becomes a major development task/headache ....
If each weapon has it's own proficiency then it's possible for some weapons to become OP over time as the game changes ... This could lead to the devs having to spend more time to make sure everything stays balanced ... This is especially true when adding things like weapon accessories
More dev time spent on balance is more $$ spent / taking away from other game changes ....
Lots of great suggestions on these boards but devs have to keep their dev time/costs in balance as well .... what priorities and at what cost ... etc
I also paint my tents ... but once I found a color I like ... I really don't change it ....
...
Sorry got to go 🙂 ... another great discussion ...
I see it as a well spent investment considering the long haul their claiming w/o even considering a 3rd title to the franchise. But more in-depth I can see EW applying a % to all the weapons equally with the mastery. Same can be said with pros & cons with each accessory. I see it as a way a player can better outfit to their playstyle/preference adding more tactics & utility. Sure ppl will likely follow cookie cutter builds but grinders are a small % of the overall community & not everyone will have the same set ups. Esp. If ammo plays a part in this as well. Content like this is what keeps players interested.
